Getting started
New accounts
- Create an account and verify it. Check your inbox for the email.
- Go to your Profile.
- Click or tap the plus icon to add your contact information.
Existing accounts
- Sign in.
- Go to your Profile tab.
- Click or tap the contact information under your name.
Important: If you have merged your Indeed and Glassdoor accounts, changing your name on Indeed will also change it on Glassdoor. Need help? Contact us here.
What you'll find under contact information
Did you know? Learn more about what you share with employers.
First and last name
- Your name will be displayed on your profile.
- If you upload a resume, we'll prefill this information when you apply for jobs on Indeed.
Phone number
- Communicate easily with employers.
- Your number is only provided to employers you apply or respond to.
- Select Show my number on Indeed to receive calls, texts, and WhatsApp messages from Indeed and employers on Indeed.
Learn more
- Choose how Indeed and employers contact you in your communication settings.
- Verify text messages and phone calls claiming to be from Indeed.
- You used your profile email to create and sign in to your account.
- Edit your email from your contact information or your account settings.

Location
Adding these details will help tailor your searches to jobs in your area.

Adding or editing your contact information

- After you make changes, click or tap Save.
