My Jobs: Managing Archived Jobs

Archiving an application

  1. Go to My Jobs and select Applied.
  2. Find the application you want to archive.
  3. Click or tap the three dots next to the Update status button.
  4. Select Archive in the pop-up menu.
Did you know? After six months, we'll automatically remove jobs from the Archived tab.

Unarchiving an application

  1. Go to My Jobs and select Archived.
  2. Find the application you want to send back to the Applied tab.
  3. Click or tap the three dots next to the job title.
  4. Select Unarchive in the pop-up menu.

FAQs

Question: Can I delete archived jobs?

Answer: No, you can't delete archived jobs. They'll be automatically removed after six months.

Technical support

Issue: I can't find an archived job.

  1. Solution: If you applied on the employer's website, you have to manually move the application. The job may still be in your Saved tab.
  2. Solution: The application may have been removed if you applied more than six months ago.
  3. Solution: Check which Indeed account you're signed in to if you have more than one account.
Tip: Submit a data request to get a history of your applications for jobs posted on Indeed by employers. This history won't include jobs where the application took place on the employer's website.
