Mobile apps: crashes, freezes and performance issues

Reinstall the app

  1. Delete the app from your device.
  2. Download it again from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
  3. Restart your phone

Visit Apple's or Google's Help Centre for the latest instructions on deleting and reinstalling apps.

Clear app files and data

Important: after clearing app data, you'll need to sign in again. Some things might be cleared out, like your job search history.

Android

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Apps or App manager.
  3. Select the Indeed app
  4. Tap Storage or Storage & cache.
  5. Tap Clear cache and Clear data.
  6. Restart your phone.

iOS

  1. Press and hold the Indeed app icon.
  2. Tap Remove app.
  3. Tap Delete app to remove the app and its data.

Check device compatibility

The Indeed app works with most modern devices and operating systems. You may experience performance issues if:

  • you use an older device
  • your operating system is out of date
