Desktop browsers: clearing Chrome and Safari cache and cookies

Clearing your cache and cookies from your browser may fix website issues, speed up your browser and protect your privacy. Chrome (desktop)

Clearing browsing data

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click the three dots in the top-right-hand corner.
  3. Hover over More tools.
  4. Select Clear browsing data.
  5. In the new tab, choose a time range. To remove everything, select All time.

Clearing cookies and cached files

  1. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
  2. Click Clear data.

Safari (desktop)

Clearing website data

  1. Open Safari.
  2. In the top menu bar, click Safari, then select Preferences.
  3. Go to the Privacy tab.
  4. Click Manage website data.
  5. Click Remove all, then Remove now to confirm.
  6. Click Done when you've finished.

Managing cookie settings

In the Privacy tab, you can adjust cookie preferences by selecting Block all cookies or other options under Cookies and website data.
