Troubleshooting 2-step Verification

 If you're a job seeker, here are some common causes and steps to troubleshoot 2FA issues.

Why are you experiencing this issue?

One common reason for this issue is because there is more than one account under your email address. This can happen if you click Employers / Post Job in the top right-hand corner of the site or from the Settings menu in the app.

Other possible causes

2-step verification is enabled.

The verification code is required when your account's 2-step verification is enabled. You can disable this in your account settings.

We noticed an unusual sign-in attempt.

If you sign in from a new device or in a different location, you may be prompted to enter a verification code you receive as a text or an email.

Did you know? 2FA is also known as two-factor authentication or 2-step verification. When you sign in to Indeed, you’ll see 2-step verification. No matter what you call it, it’s a tool to protect your identity.

Your device may have its own 2FA
