With the Resume Review service, your resume will be sent to a resume professional who will record a 10-minute, personalized video with guidance on how to update and improve your resume. In addition to the video review, you will receive written notes including a few examples of rewritten content from your resume. We'll email your resume review video and written notes from your resume reviewer to you in 1-3 days on average. The delivery email will be sent to the email address associated with your Indeed account used to place the order.
To get the most out of your resume review, please tell us about you and what goals and concerns you have. When you sign up for a resume review, we’ll ask for:
- A resume containing all of your work history in the last 15 years
- A link to a job posting you are interested in applying to
- Information specific to your job search (e.g., if you’re making a career change)
- Any questions or concerns you have about your resume that you’d like your reviewer to address
When your resume review is ready, follow the link in the delivery email to watch the video and read the written notes and comments from your resume reviewer. You can update your resume based on the advice provided by your reviewer. For the most effective job search, tailor your resume for each job posting.
An Applicant Tracking System, or “ATS” for short, is software used by employers to collect, sort and rank the resumes they receive. To ensure your resume is set up for success in an ATS scan, it’s best to identify and incorporate applicable keywords from the job posting into your resume.
