Getting started
Preferences are located in an account's profile.
- Creating an account or signing in isn't required for a job search, but it is when you want to save, add, or change an account's preferences.
- Click or tap Profile in the navigation or the profile icon

- Click or tap the Preferences tab.
What happens when you change these settings?

Except for pay, employers can review your preferences if the profile is set to Employers can find you.

Changes in your profile reflect your job matches.
What preferences can you change?
Ready to work
The Ready to work toggle is under the Profile, Preferences, and Resume tabs.
- Select the drop-down privacy menu so Employers can find you.

Turning on the toggle lets employers know you can start working immediately.
Interested
The sections under Interested are located under the Ready to work toggle.
Actions
When you're ready to add or edit your preferences:
- Click or tap the pencil icon

- Complete the required information in the pop-up window.
- Save each added or edited preference.
What does each preference section mean?
Click or tap the plus icon to open the menu for each section:
- Job titles. Add up to 10 job titles.
- Job types are full-time, part-time, contract, and temp jobs.
- Work schedule describes when you'll work - Monday to Friday, for example.
- Minimum base pay. This setting is the lowest pay you'll consider in your search.
- Relocation shows different jobs in locations other than your own.
- Remote is your desired work setting, whether remote or in-person.
When can you change profile preferences?
In addition to adding or editing your preferences directly to a profile, you can change them as you complete actions like searching for or applying for a job.
Job details when you search
Besides profile preferences, you can also add job preferences while searching for a job, including:
- Job details
- Job type
- Location
- Shirt and schedule
Employers select job details, so the job details vary.
During the application process
When applying for a job, we'll ask you to review or edit profile details, including:
- Contact
- Location and commute
- Apply with profile details, resume, or without a
- Relevant jobs and work history
