Uploading a Profile Photo Using an iPhone

Quick summary

You can now upload pictures to your Indeed profile using your iPhone. This guide covers file types and sizes, image uploads, and troubleshooting issues. A process we'll also introduce you to is how we moderate profile photos. Below are the sections on this page:

Important: Photos are new to Indeed. Thanks for your patience as we gradually roll this out.

  4. We moderate the quality of your photo.
  5. Uploading a profile picture is optional.

Troubleshooting image errors

What if a photo upload fails?

  • Make sure the image is in JPG, PNG, or HEIC format.

  • Files must be smaller than 30 MB.
  • Tap the notification that says Try again. This refreshes the upload.
  • Upload a different image.

What happens if Indeed rejects my photo?

We may remove profile photos that violate Indeed's policies.

What to expect

  • You'll see a message about the rejected photo.
  • Your profile will show your initials instead of an image.

What to do next

Upload a new image that follows the profile photo policies and guidelines. Learn more about Indeed's moderation policy or why your photo was removed.
