New accounts

Where is the menu located?
Here's where to discover the Profile settings menu.
- Click Profile or tap the Profile icon.
- You can find the drop-down menu near your contact information.
Changing your Profile Settings menu
The Privacy settings menu has two options. Read what each option means and what to expect.
Employers can find you
Your profile is visible. Employers can:
- Recommend jobs
- Contact you through Indeed's messaging system
How to get the most out of this setting
- Review and update your Work experience.
- Make sure all contact info is accurate.
- Make sure you're using the correct email address.
Employers can't find you
Your profile is not searchable. Employers can't:
- Proactively contact you
- Know your job search activity
- Search for your profile details, including:
- Contact information
- Uploaded resume files
- Self-service skills tests
- Current or past work history
