Changing the visibility of your resume to Searchable on Indeed or Not searchable on Indeed

Follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your account and navigate to your Indeed Resume.
2. Find and click the arrow icon to the right side of the Resume section.
3. Locate the Searchable on Indeed or Not searchable on Indeed button to toggle visibility.
4. Choose Searchable on Indeed or Not searchable on Indeed and Save.

Searchable on Indeed visibility

Indeed Resumes and personal resume files can be made Searchable on Indeed. Indeed Resumes and personal resume files that are Searchable on Indeed are visible to any employer with a subscription to our Resume service. Your phone number and email address are provided only to employers whose jobs you apply to. However, if you include personally-identifiable information, including a phone number, physical address, or email address in the resume document, instead of the fields provided, it may be visible to everyone. Your street address and postal code are only visible to you.

Not searchable on Indeed visibility

Employers cannot see Not searchable on Indeed Indeed Resumes in a search on Indeed. If you set your resume to Not searchable on Indeed, you can still use it to apply for jobs hosted on Indeed. Employers you were in contact with before setting your resume to Not searchable on Indeed may still have access to your resume details.
