Creating or signing in to a phone-number-only account
- Download WhatsApp if you haven't already.
- Go to Indeed.com or open the Indeed Mobile App.
- Click or tap Sign in.
- Enter your WhatsApp number in the Email address or phone number field and Continue.
- Create or enter a password.
- Click or tap Create Account or Sign in.
Here's when you’ll need to create an Indeed account.
- It's been more than 90 days since you signed in to Indeed and you've lost or changed your WhatsApp phone number.
Important: Your Indeed account number and WhatsApp number must match. If your phone number changes, update it in your Indeed account settings.
Generate an Indeed OTP (one-time passcode)
- Click or tap Forgot password?
- Verify your WhatsApp phone number.
- Check your WhatsApp messages for the Indeed verification code.
- Enter and submit the one-time passcode.
Technical Support
Problem: I’m not seeing how to sign in using a WhatsApp phone number. What do I do?
Solution: Sign in using the same device or browser you used to create the account.
Problem: I signed in using the same device or browser, and I don’t see the phone number field.
Solution: Don’t clear your cache and cookies. Instead, try a hard-refresh:
- Windows: Press Ctrl + F5
- Mac: Command + Shift + ‘R’ key

Question: Can I reset my Indeed password if I change my WhatsApp phone number?
Answer: No, Indeed and WhatsApp must be linked.
Question: Can I add an email address to my PNO account?
Answer: Yes. It will, however, change the phone-number-only account to a standard one.
