How to upload a CV file
For new or existing accounts, follow these steps:
- Click or tap Upload your CV.
- Choose a document stored on your phone or desktop computer.
- Preview the CV.
- Click or tap Yes, this PDF looks right. You can also upload a different file.
Managing the file you uploaded
You can use the CV options menu to manage your uploaded CV file. Visit the CV options menu page in the Help Centre to learn more.

Question: Can I block my current employer from finding my profile on Indeed?
Answer: No, you can't hide your CV from only your current employer.
Technical support
Problem: Some sections of my profile are in the wrong language.
Solution: You may be logged in on an Indeed page for a different country. Follow these steps to fix the issue:
- Delete the CV file from your profile.
- Visit Indeed Worldwide and select the country you're currently in.
- Upload your CV file again.
Problem: The content from my CV is uploaded to the wrong sections of my profile.
Solution: If the file you're uploading isn't organised in the traditional format, some of its content may be missing or misplaced. Sign in to your account and edit your profile manually.
