To ensure your information successfully transfers to a new email address and Indeed login, please use our Change Email tool. Note: You’ll need to have access to the original Indeed account to follow these steps.
To change your email address:
- Sign in and click the change email address link on the Account tab.
- After you've changed your email address, Indeed will send a confirmation email to the new address you entered. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the email in your inbox.
- Click the confirmation link within the confirmation email in your new email’s inbox to finalize the change. Once this is complete Indeed will begin sending notifications to the new address.
Did you receive an error message?
If you receive an error message, the most likely scenario is that there already exists an account associated with the email address you are trying to enter. We cannot merge two active Indeed accounts, so you would need to close the account associated with the email address you’re trying to use before requesting the change.
Have you lost access to your email address?
You may contact your email provider and try the account recovery steps they have in place in order to regain access to your old email address. Please note that we are unable to assist with password reset requests for job seekers who have lost access to their email accounts. In cases like these, job seekers will need to create a new account.
