When you submit an application through Indeed, it will be sent to the employer. Indeed does not have a feature that allows users to withdraw or alter applications that have been submitted.
How do I fix errors that I see on my application before submitting?
In most cases, it’s not possible to withdraw your application after it is submitted. So, it’s important to review your application and fix any errors before submitting it to the employer. Click the edit button in the top-right corner of your application to update your information. If you make and save changes but continue to see errors during review, contact support. We can help you troubleshoot problems before you submit your application.
What if I see the wrong information in my application confirmation?
We are happy to double-check your application in our system. Please contact support with the following information: details about what you see in the confirmation, how that is different from what you should see and screenshots that help us find your application.
If you notice that there is an error on your resume or CV saved on Indeed, you can edit it by logging in to your account at https://my.indeed.com/resume.
Employers that you have applied to will not see the changes that you make to your resume after your application is submitted. Please contact the employer directly to provide your updated resume.
Cover Letter/Application Error
If there is a typo or error in the cover letter or application questions that you submitted to an employer, contact the employer directly with the correct information.
It is not currently possible to edit or withdraw your application or reapply to a job on Indeed. Please contact the employer directly to update your application. Indeed does not post employer contact information on our site, but you may be able to find this information using a search engine, such as Google.
Some job postings on Indeed do not allow users to apply directly through Indeed; instead, you are taken to the employer’s site to apply. For these jobs, please contact the employer directly to determine how to withdraw, edit or resubmit your application.
